Easy BOLT-ON Power from Sled TunerOur custom Z1 turbo intercooler comes from our experience in the turbo automotive world and testing on our Z1 Turbo. Unlike other units that have fabricated sheet metal tanks out intercooler uses much stronger cast tanks that will not fail under high boost or surge conditions. We also have a much larger/thicker core than most for max cooling of the charge air. We include the intercooler which mounts right in the stock location with no mods needs to the sled. It also includes the mandral bent, polished aluminum, lower charge pipes that eliminate the flimsy stock rubbber units. We include high quality silicone hoses and clamps for an easy and dependable installation. For stock turbo applications changing out the factory cast upper pipe shows no performence gains. For our customers that want bigger turbos or wish to run higher boost than something like the hijacker will allow we also offer a custom upper pipe with extra fuel injector bung to supply additioal fuel and handle the extra air flow.
