-The highly polished aluminum DC Tech Turbo Shield is not only extremely attractive, but accommodates a variety of upgrades including the 30, 40, 50, and 60 series (3 bolt) turbos as well as the stock turbo. The list of downpipes that are compatible include stock, 2 piece 3", ATR 3", and Terry Houston 3" and 3 1/2". The DC Tech Turbo Shield mounts to the stock bracket, will clear a turbo-saver fitting, and can only be used with the stock waste gate.

-The DC Tech Turbo Shield comes with polished T304 stainless steel 8mm Allen head bolts, custom 12 ga T304 stainless steel polished washers, and the correct metric Allen wrench.

-Our shield is made from 5052 Aluminum and weighs 43% less than the stock steel unit. We chose to make our shield from aluminum for another reason besides weight and that is heat. Steel and chromed steel turbo shields, mass air flow pipes and air inlet pipes retain heat and are slow to cool down. Aluminum not only cools much quicker than it's steel counter parts, but it helps to draw heat from the engine itself in effect helping to cool down the engine.
